Hi,

I just installed a new version of IBM Configurator and now appers a new
z13 machine called "z13s" with Machine type 2965 and models L10, L20
(seems to be linux only machines) and N10 N20 (seems to be machines with
CP, ICF and IFL processors).

I looked for in Announcement Letter database for machine type 2965 and
get nothing...

Is this new z13s (from Small) equivalent to old zXX BC machines???

Anyone receives any information from IBM about?? .ppt presentations???

Carlos:

IBM announced today (via press-release) a new LinuxONE Rockhopper model,
for more information go to
http://www-03.ibm.com/systems/linuxone/enterprise-linux-systems/rockhopper.html

The configurator has been updated to support the new 2964 Lxx models (z13
base) and the new 2965 L10/L20 models (z13s base). The "s" stands for
"single frame". The general purpose models of the 2965 have not yet been
announced. IBM did something similar many years ago when the Linux-only
z800 was announced 2 weeks before the general purpose z800 models.
